What is your approach to photographing weddings?
My approach is storytelling-driven and unobtrusive. I document your day as it naturally unfolds, while offering gentle direction when needed so you never feel awkward or overly posed. I focus on real emotion, meaningful connection, and moments that matter. The result is a gallery that feels honest, cinematic, and emotionally rich.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes, and they are one of the best ways for us to build connection before the wedding day. Engagement sessions help you feel relaxed in front of the camera and allow me to understand your dynamic as a couple. Many wedding collections include an engagement session, and they can also be booked separately.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in the Chicagoland area and frequently travel for weddings, sessions, and destination celebrations. Travel details are always discussed transparently during the booking process.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples reach out between six and eighteen months in advance, especially for peak wedding season dates. If you feel connected to my work, I recommend inquiring sooner rather than later to ensure availability.
How many images will we receive?
Every wedding is unique, and each gallery is curated with care. You will receive a thoughtfully edited collection of high-resolution images that tell the full story of your day, from the quiet moments to the celebration.
How long does it take to receive our photos?
Engagement galleries are typically delivered within two to three weeks. Wedding galleries are delivered within six to eight weeks. Sneak peeks are often shared shortly after your wedding day.
Do you offer second photographers?
Yes. Many of my wedding collections include a second photographer to allow for more comprehensive coverage and additional perspectives throughout the day.
Do you work with videographers and other vendors?
Yes. I regularly collaborate with videographers, planners, and creative teams who care deeply about the client experience. I also work closely with a trusted videography team and makeup artist, which helps create a cohesive, smooth experience and allows your vendor team to flow naturally together. I am always happy to share recommendations.
How do we officially book you?
Booking begins by filling out my inquiry form by clicking on the INQUIRE tab. From there, we schedule a consultation to ensure we are the right fit. Once your contract is signed and your retainer is paid, your date is officially reserved.
What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?
Almost every couple says this at first, and almost every couple leaves their session feeling confident and surprised by how natural it felt. You do not need to know how to pose. My role is to guide you gently and create space for real moments to happen.
Do you retouch images?
All delivered images are professionally edited in my signature style. This includes color correction, exposure balance, and natural retouching while preserving real skin texture and authenticity. I avoid heavy filters or over-editing that changes how you truly look.
Can we print our photos?
Yes. You receive personal print rights with your gallery. I also offer professional prints and heirloom albums for couples who want tangible keepsakes that are designed to last for generations.
